Mike is distinguished by his twenty-five years of experience selling technology innovation to C-Level insurance executives. Mike has translated this experience into an innovation driven sales method for insurtechs and their investors.

Mike joined Pivot Global Partners with a successful career selling technology across the insurance value chain. Among his current and former clients are Farmers, Ameriprise, AIG, Travelers, Unum, ICW, Liberty Mutual, Auto Club Group, CSAA, State Farm, Allstate, and other national, regional, and super regional carriers. Trained in both enterprise sales and management consulting, Mike has led sales teams with IBM, Bolt Tech, and SunGard.

Mike shares Pivot Global’s passion for the intersection of leadership and diversity, equity and inclusion. His sales approach is focused on empowering the mid-career leaders Cynthia Hardy, Pivot Global’s CEO & Founder, speaks to in her best-selling book, Crossing Meridians. Mike believes these “innovation executives” are the future of the insurance industry.

As an ADHD advocate, Mike founded The Independence Hub, a not-for-profit and a collaboration of innovation executives interested in promoting neurodiversity and neurodivergent talent in insurance.

Mike holds a B.A. in History from the University of California, Berkeley, and grew up between Vermont and the Deep South.
