Fay Cobb Payton, PhD., advises Pivot clients at the intersection of artificial intelligence, data, healthcare, technology innovation, talent, and transformation leadership.
Her career spans industry, academia, public service, research, and advisory work. Fay's private-sector experience includes EY Consulting's national health practice, Time Inc., and IBM.
Fay is a professor emerita and former tenured full professor of information technology and analytics at North Carolina State University. At the National Science Foundation, she led and contributed to initiatives involving computing research, smart health, biomedical research, AI, and advanced data science. She received the NSF Director's Award.
Fay has authored more than 150 peer-reviewed articles, conference publications, and book chapters.
